24) The petitioners humbly pray that this Hon’ble Court may be pleased to: (a) issue a writ of mandamus to respondent 1 to 3 to accept the records maintained under the Minimum Wages Act 1948 and Rules in computerized format as per Rule 29-D of the Karnataka Minimum Wages Rules 1958; 19) issue a writ in the nature of Certiorari or any other writ or order quashing the criminal proceedings in CC.No.660/2024; 25) In the meantime, pending disposal of the main writ petition, this Hon’ble Court may be pleased to stay further proceedings in CC.No.660/2024, in the interest of justice.
To seek judicial review of the Labour Inspector’s refusal to accept computerized records as compliant under Rule 29-D of the Karnataka Minimum Wages Rules, 1958, and to quash criminal proceedings initiated in CC No. 660/2024.
