24) The petitioners humbly pray that this Hon’ble Court may be pleased to: (a) issue a writ of mandamus to respondent 1 to 3 to accept the records maintained under minimum wages act 1948 and Rules in computerized format as per Rule 29-D of the Karnataka Minimum Wages Rules 1958; (b) issue a writ in the nature of Certiorari or any other writ or order and quash the criminal proceedings in No.CC.660/2024 filed by respondent before the Hon’ble Principal Civil Judge and JMFC, Nanjangud, Mysuru at Annexure-E; (c) pass such other order(s) as deemed fit in the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice. 25) In the meantime, pending disposal of the main writ petition, this Hon’ble Court may be pleased to stay further proceedings in CC.No.660/2024 pending before the Principal Civil Judge and JMFC, Nanjangud, Mysuru, in the interest of justice.
To quash criminal proceedings in CC No. 660/2024 and secure judicial recognition of computerized wage and attendance records as valid compliance under Rule 29-D of the Karnataka Minimum Wages Rules, 1958.
